Ken Moroney (1949- ):
Born in South London of Anglo-Irish parentage Ken Moroney is a talented painter of landscapes and figure subjects and a major exponent of British Impressionism. He has travelled widely, lived in France for two years, and has worked for major galleries in New York. He now lives in London and has a studio at Kew. His work has been exhibited at the Royal Academy in London on many occasions, the Beaux Arts in Paris and elsewhere. The Royal Academy nominated him in 1976 as being one of the few promising young artists to emerge this century.
